Norsk Hydro ASA’s primary insiders have subscribed for shares under a general arrangement offered to the employees of Norsk Hydro ASA each year. Following a good share price development for the Hydro share during 2007, all employees in Norway are being offered to purchase shares valued at NOK 20,000 with a 50 percent discount. The offer consists of 266 shares at NOK 37.57 per share.

Hydro will invest EUR 14.3 million in a new aluminium recycling furnace in Germany, with an output capacity of 50,000 tonnes per year. The twin-chamber furnace will be part of a new recycling center at Alunorf, a joint venture between Hydro and Novelis in Neuss, German.
