Lithography

Aluminium developed for use in manufacturing offset printing plates must meet
various challenging requirements, such as:

• Defect-free surface quality
• Higher-than-average flatness
• Dedicated and adapted electrochemical grainability
• Specific mechanical properties

For our different markets, we offer alloys AA1050 and AA3103. In addition, Hydro has created a unique universal alloy: HA1052, which is can be used in all markets.
 
All our products are suitable for mechanical and electrochemical graining, with gauge-range of 0.1 – 0.5 mm, and width-range of up to 1650 mm.

Surface can be delivered in as rolled, degreased or re-oiled quality. Sheets and brushed material are available upon request.
