How about learning and helping to expand the procurement skills that help make Hydro a world-class aluminium company? Our procurement teams are looking for trainees.
The ideal people will be equally able to develop deep insights into the markets for the goods and services that we buy, and maintain close relationships with our suppliers.
This position is located in:
Your role will be to:
- Develop procurement strategy
- Establish contract strategies and handle contract management for all phases of national and international development projects
- Become an expert on specific supplier markets
- Provide procurement expertise for projects in development or already operational
- Manage relationships with contractors
- Carry out tendering processes
- Manage communication between the procurement and project control teams
Ideally, you:
- Have a Master's degree or the equivalent, with good academic results, in Finance, Business Administration, Science or Industrial Economics
- Are eager to travel and work with projects in many locations and countries
- Have international experience such as an internship or study outside your home country
- Are fluent in English and potentially an additional foreign language
- Can integrate easily into multicultural and cross-functional working groups
