Porsgrunn
Porsgrunn, in Telemark county, is one of Norway’s most important industrial centers. Its industrialization dates back to the 19th century. Today, about 33,000 people live in Porsgrunn.
Hydro owns Porsgrunn’s Herøya Industrial Park, which has the country's best process industrial infrastructure and is one of Norway's most attractive locations for industrial firms. There are more than 90 different companies located in the facility, employing about 3,000 employees.
