Årdal
Årdal is a municipality of about 6,000 people in western Norway. Although Årdal is a modern industrial community, it is surrounded by some of the country’s most dramatic mountain and fjord scenery.
Hydro produces primary aluminium on two prebake lines at Årdal. The casthouse delivers sheet ingot and foundry alloys. We also have a research center in Årdal.
