In Poland, Hydro is present with aluminium extrusion operations and as a supplier of building systems and rolled products. The company has about 185 employees in Poland.
Hydro’s extrusion plant in Chzarnów was built as a greenfield site in 1996. The plant serves primarily general extrusion customers and has a production capacity of about 26,000 metric tons per year. The Chrzanów plant is established as a market leader in Poland and has proven to be a consistent performer in the Hydro extrusion network.
Including Poland, Hydro is the industry leader in Europe in extruded aluminium products, with more than 30 locations spread throughout the continent.
