In Finland, Hydro is present with aluminium extrusion operations. The company has about 60 employees in the country.
The Forssa-based facility produces and delivers extruded aluminium products, largely fabricated products, to domestic customers. Forssa is located between Finland’s three largest cities, in the province of Southern Finland.
The extrusion operation was established in 2000, as Salko Aluminium Oy.
Including Finland, Hydro is the industry leader in Europe in extruded aluminium products, with more than 30 locations spread throughout the continent.
