Hydro is present in Japan as a supplier of aluminium metal products. The Tokyo office is part of the company's High Purity business unit, offering sales and technical support, and all but one of the 10 employees work for the business unit.
The High Purity business unit is the world's leader in supplying advanced tailor-made high purity aluminium as input material for target applications in the semiconductor and FPD/LCD industries, and electrolytic capacitor foil for the capacitor industry.
Hydro's Precision Tubing business sector is also represented in the office.
